Grilled chicken, creamy tzatziki, cucumber, tomatoes and feta wrapped in warm flatbread for a fresh Mediterranean meal.

# Ingredient List:

→ Chicken

01 - 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
02 - 2 tbsp olive oil
03 - 1 tbsp lemon juice
04 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 1 tsp dried oregano
06 - 1/2 tsp salt
07 - 1/4 tsp black pepper

→ Tzatziki Sauce

08 - 1 cup Greek yogurt
09 - 1/2 cucumber, grated and drained
10 - 1 clove garlic, minced
11 - 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
12 - 1 tbsp lemon juice
13 - 1 tbsp olive oil
14 - Salt and pepper to taste

→ Wrap Components

15 - 4 large flatbreads or whole wheat wraps
16 - 1/2 cucumber, thinly sliced
17 - 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
18 - 4 oz (about 115 g) feta cheese, crumbled
19 - 1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
20 - 1 cup lettuce or baby spinach leaves

# Steps:

01 - In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Add chicken breasts and marinate for 15 minutes (or longer if desired).
02 - While chicken marinates, make the tzatziki: In a small bowl, mix Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, chopped dill, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Stir well and refrigerate.
03 - Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Grill chicken breasts for 6-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked. Let rest for 3 minutes, then slice thinly.
04 - Warm the flatbreads lightly in a pan or microwave.
05 - To assemble each wrap, spread tzatziki over the bread, add lettuce/spinach, sliced cucumber, cherry tomatoes, red onion, grilled chicken, and top with crumbled feta.
06 - Fold up the wraps, securing with parchment or foil if needed. Serve immediately.

# Tips from the Pros:

01 -
  • Creamy tzatziki brings a bracing coolness that keeps every bite vibrant, just like the best seaside food stalls.
  • You can prep everything ahead and feel like a kitchen magician pulling dinner together at lightning speed.
02 -
  • If the cucumber for the tzatziki isn't fully drained, your sauce gets watery fast—I learned the hard way after a pool formed on my plate.
  • Slicing the cooked chicken after a short rest keeps it juicy; cutting it too soon makes all those tasty juices run out.
03 -
  • Always grate and drain cucumbers thoroughly when making tzatziki for thicker, creamier sauce that doesn't drip.
  • Marinate chicken for at least 30 minutes if possible—the extra time transforms the flavor.
