# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
02 - Mix together dried dill, parsley, chives, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.
03 - Place the flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in a second bowl, and combine panko, Parmesan, and half of the ranch seasoning in a third bowl.
04 - Toss mushrooms in flour, shake off excess, dip into beaten eggs, then coat thoroughly with the panko mixture.
05 - Place mushrooms in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Generously spray with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil.
06 - Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until mushrooms are golden brown and crispy.
07 - Sprinkle the remaining ranch seasoning over the hot mushrooms before serving.

# Tips from the Pros:

01 -
  • They're baked, not fried, so you get that satisfying crunch without the heavy oil feeling afterward.
  • The ranch seasoning hits all those comfort-food notes you didn't know you were craving in a vegetable.
  • They come together in under 45 minutes and make your kitchen smell incredible.
02 -
  • Don't skip shaking off excess flour—I learned this the hard way when a batch came out pasty instead of crispy.
  • Panko breadcrumbs are essential; regular breadcrumbs create a dense coating that doesn't achieve that signature crunch.
  • Spray or brush oil generously and flip halfway—this is what separates pale mushrooms from golden, crispy ones.
03 -
  • Pat the mushrooms completely dry before flouring—moisture is the enemy of crispiness, and it's the difference between good and exceptional.
  • Use a spray bottle for even oil distribution, or brush oil with a pastry brush rather than drizzling, so every piece gets coated equally.
