Iced Peach Green Tea Lemonade (Printable)

Chilled blend of green tea, peach syrup and zesty lemonade—quick to mix, adjustable sweetness and perfect for warm days.

# Ingredient List:

→ Green Tea

01 - 2 green tea bags
02 - 2 cups hot water (about 175°F)

→ Peach Syrup

03 - 1 cup peach nectar or peach juice
04 - 2 tablespoons simple syrup or honey/agave (use plant-based syrup for vegan)

→ Lemonade

05 - 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4 lemons)
06 - 1/2 cup cold water
07 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)

→ To Serve

08 - Ice cubes
09 - Fresh peach slices (optional)
10 - Mint leaves (optional)

# Steps:

01 - Steep the tea bags in 2 cups of hot water (about 175°F) for 2 to 3 minutes; remove bags and allow the infusion to cool to room temperature or chill in the refrigerator.
02 - In a pitcher combine 1 cup fresh lemon juice, 1/2 cup cold water and 1/4 cup granulated sugar; stir until the sugar is fully dissolved and taste-adjust if necessary.
03 - Whisk together 1 cup peach nectar and 2 tablespoons simple syrup (or honey/agave for a vegan version) until homogenous; use a blender-purée for a richer texture if preferred.
04 - Fill serving glasses with ice; pour equal parts cooled green tea, peach syrup and lemonade into each glass (approximately one-third of each liquid per serving) and stir gently to combine.
05 - Top with fresh peach slices and mint leaves if desired and serve immediately; for a sparkling variation, replace part of the cold water with sparkling water just before serving.

# Tips from the Pros:

01 -
  • It’s one of those treats you can pull together in fifteen minutes and everyone assumes you spent much longer.
  • The blend of freshly squeezed lemon and juicy peach syrup wakes you up and cools you down at the same time.
02 -
  • If the green tea steeps even thirty seconds too long, the bitterness will take over everything—set a timer, trust me.
  • Chilling the green tea fast by pouring it over ice (then adding more ice later) makes for a cloudier, colder drink that's still full of flavor.
03 -
  • Always make a test cup with extra ice to check the flavor balance before committing to a whole batch for friends.
  • Chill the glasses ahead of time for a noticeably crisper first sip.
