Golden baked chips made from seasoned cottage cheese, crispy and protein-rich for healthy snacking.

# Ingredient List:

→ Dairy

01 - 2 cups full fat or low fat cottage cheese (16 oz)

→ Seasonings

02 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
03 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
04 - 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
05 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
06 - 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

→ Optional Add-Ins

07 - 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
08 - 1 teaspoon dried herbs (oregano, thyme, or rosemary)

# Steps:

01 - Set oven to 350°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone baking mat.
02 - Place cottage cheese in a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth and press gently to remove excess moisture.
03 - Transfer drained cottage cheese to a food processor. Add garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, sea salt, Parmesan cheese, and dried herbs if using. Pulse until mostly smooth with some texture remaining.
04 - Spoon heaping teaspoons of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet about 1 inch apart, flattening each into a 2-inch diameter thin round.
05 - Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until edges are golden brown and chips are crisp.
06 - Allow chips to cool completely on the baking sheet to enhance crispness. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.

# Tips from the Pros:

01 -
  • You get that satisfying salty crunch without the heavy grease or empty calories of traditional chips
  • Each batch delivers serious protein making them the perfect snack that actually keeps you full
  • The seasoning blend hits every savory note and you can customize it to match whatever mood you are in
02 -
  • Patting the cottage cheese dry is the most important step because any extra moisture will prevent proper crisping
  • These are definitely best fresh from the oven but you can re-crisp stored chips in a 300°F oven for about 5 minutes
03 -
  • Use a silicone baking mat instead of parchment for easier cleanup and more even heat distribution
  • Set a timer for 20 minutes then check every 2 minutes after that because they can go from perfect to burned quickly
